TA213D is a premium grade macroporous type I SBA ion exchange media resin with
polyacrylic matrix and quaternary amine (Trimethylamine) function group in standard Gaussian size distribution. Its macroporous structure makes it can adsorb soluble organic molecules and provides good performance to resist to osmotic & mechanical shock and oxidation.
Principle of macroporous adsorption resin separation:
Appropriate hollow channels of different sizes on the adsorption resin, and the diameter of these holes must be greater than the minimum volume of the particles to be separated, and the largest must be smaller than the volume of the largest particles to be separated, otherwise the separation effect will not be achieved.
In this way, when particles of different sizes pass through the adsorption resin, large-sized particles can pass through the outside of the resin because they cannot pass through the spaced channels, and are separated first. Other particles of different sizes will pass through the resin in channels suitable for their diameter. Because such particles with different particle sizes pass through the resin at different times, different particles in different time periods will appear macroscopically to achieve the effect of separation.
