Polypropylene String Wound Sediment Filters
Our replacement polypropylene string wound sediment filter cartridges coreless design is an economical solution to pre-filtration for many applications. Polypropylene String Wound Cartridges are used widely as pre-filtration for RO systems and post-filtration for GAC filters. Also used in applications such as Ice Machines, Film Processing, Beverage, Coffee, Analytical, Wineries, and many other applications.
Polypropylene String Wound Cartridges are manufactured from a durable polypropylene cord that is wound around a rigid polypropylene core. They are an economical solution to reduce fine sediment, including sand, silt, rust and scale particles. Polypropylene String Wound Cartridges are wound in a precise pattern around the core, providing greater surface area. The result is higher dirt loading capacity and greater efficiency than standard wound cartridges. These string-wound cartridges are capable of withstanding temperatures up to 165°F (73.9°C), and will accommodate higher flow rates with minimal pressure drop. Polypropylene String Wound Cartridges are suitable for a wide variety of sediment filtration applications, including municipal and well water as well as many industrial fluids.
We offer standard filter cartridge sizes including the jumbo cartridges and various micron sizes up to 100 Micron ( 10″x2.5″)
